Our Story

HSE-Australia-Logo-on-white Established in 2006 by 12 passionate industry leaders in their field, Health Safety Environment Australia (HSE Australia) quickly grew into an organisation that serviced clients across various industries and government organisation Australia-wide.
Our unique service approach of being hands-on Consultants that work on-site and that offer fit-for-purpose solutions that are based on the wide range of scientific knowledge of our consultants, makes us a go-to provider for clients in industries such as mining & quarrying, healthcare & hospitals, manufacturing, or defence.
Today HSE Australia is a team of nearly 50 specialists that offer a variety of services in almost all areas of Occupational Hygiene, Work Health & Safety, Asbestos Management and Environmental Solutions.
However, after over 15 years in business and while working with major ASX listed clients, HSE Australia continues to be a family-owned business that first and foremost appreciates the knowledge, experience, and value that every team member is adds to the organisation.

FitTick is compliance based approach to respirator fit and audiometric testing and provides a compliant approach to current legislative standards for clients.  The FitTick model delivers best practice through independent testing of all respiratory brands on the market and the production of FitTick Cards for all individuals tested to meet audit requirements.

This is a great opportunity for a well organized, client focused individual who cares about safety to learn new technical skills with full product training provided.

Your success will be built upon your natural ability to deliver technical testing, effectively time manage, communicate effectively and appropriately across various industries and organizational levels.

Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Delivery of FitTick testing  (RPE, HPE, PPE) to clients, that is professional, efficient and compliant;
  • Respond to client requests for information and quotations;
  • Effectively manage the administration process for each job;
  • Develop ongoing relationships with clients to secure ongoing, repeat business through the delivery of a quality product and service – become the client’s “go to” provider of respiratory fit testing.

It is essential that you are a motivated, self starter who is professional and approachable, able to balance administration elements with the technical delivery of the fit testing and work effectively both autonomously and within a wider support team.

Ideally you will have a healthcare background and sound knowledge of OHS regulations and standards and have experience in various different industries, however, you must definitely hold a current full driver’s license, be able to tow and park a trailer and have the ability to travel both intra and inter state.

Respirator Fit Testing - Casuals

We are growing rapidly and need organised, enthusiastic people in a casual capacity who want to join a growing industry and be part of a bigger health and safety organisation.

Health Safety Environment Australia (HSE Australia) is a national provider of specialist environmental, health and safety consulting services throughout mining, government, and industry. 

 

FitTick, is part of HSE Australia Pty Ltd and specialises in helping organisations in various industries (health care, mining, facility services, food, pharma etc) to become and stay compliant with current legislations around workplace health and safety.


FitTick offers a range of specialised services that includes RPE and HPE fit testing, audiometric and spirometry testing.               


Job Summary:

  • Conduct respirator (mask) fit testing that is professional and compliant;
  • Answer client questions and provide information;
  • Produce client reports;
  • All training will be provided, so no previous experience in respirator fit testing is required;
  • Competitive daily rate.

 

What you will need to be/have: 

  • Fully vaccinated (2 dose);
  • Drivers licence and own vehicle (as you will be required to travel to client sites, Km’s will be reimbursed);
  • Currently reside in Adelaide and have full working rights;
  • Comfortable working autonomously (often remotely at client sites) on a day-to-day basis, but able to engage with the wider team;
  • Mature, reliable, well organized and able to balance technical delivery of testing and administration;
  • Client focused, with well developed communication skills and a natural ability to problem solve in a calm and professional manner;
  • Adaptable and love the variety of working at various locations on a day to day basis.
